WILLOWBROOK is all about design - and that is what we sell. It is currently positioned to be the premier upscale kitchen and bath design firm in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. You may have recently seen Kathy Cvetkovich's work featured on the front cover of FANtastic Kitchens, which was widely distributed to some 10,000 homes in the area with very specific demographics. (See photos included here). Her work is also entered in the national Sub-Zero/Wolf Design Competition. She has worked in many fine, upscale neighborhoods including Nevillewood, Diamond Run, Hickory Heights, Upper St. Clair, Fox Chapel, Mt. Lebanon, Gibsonia, Murrysville.
If you are in the market for a simple 30" wall cabinet type of kitchen, then WILLOWBROOK is not the company for you. On the other hand, if you are truly interested in design and special attention to detail and to having your needs and wish list fulfilled, then we ARE the company for you. Kathy's business and design philosophy is not to pressure clients into accepting what her needs and taste are, but rather to listen carefully to what the CLIENT wants and to simply apply good principles of design to the work.
All drawings are generated by hand, which gives each project that special detailed working plan that results in a beautiful product that will increase the home's value and saleability. Computer generated drawings, while efficient for production work, do not provide enough detail to clearly express the level of work being done by WILLOWBROOK and all upscale design.
Being also an interior designer, Kathy brings that added background and experience to each new project. After carefully analyzing the home's architectural details, the kitchen is then matched to the period, should that be the homeowner's request. Style, color, adjacent spaces, home value, etc. are all taken into consideration - not simply the kitchen as an isolated element.
Her own private practice in interior design, which specialized in new construction, provides her with the experience to move comfortably through all the pitfalls involved with that process.
Other room cabinetry and design is also available. Any type of oversized custom entertainment units, Study built-ins, custom panelling, coffered ceilings, bars, anything along this line - are all in the mix. Unusual and exotic wood species (as well as the generally-accepted ones), a wide variety of finishes, colors and qualities are all available to ensure that your project turns out to be exactly . . . . . . .
